How to make Pumpkin cake?

2 cups of flour

2 eggs

1 tablespoon of baking powder

1 cup of pumpkin puree

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

¼ cup butter

1 cup of brown sugar

2 teaspoons of crushed cinnamon

¼ teaspoon of salt

For frosting:

2 tablespoons butter

1 cup of cream cheese

2 cups of powdered sugar

1 teaspoon of vanilla essence


Preheat oven at 350 degree Fahrenheit.

Add flour, sugar, baking powder, cinnamon in a bowl and whisk well.

In a separate bowl, add eggs and beat them properly.

Side by side, add butter, salt, vanilla extract and pumpkin puree and blend all the elements.

After mixing add the dry ingredient bowl into the batter and whisk until everything is fully integrated.

Spread the batter in the greased pan and bake for 30 minutes or until the tester comes out clean.

Take out and cool it on the rack.

For frosting, retrieve butter, vanilla extract, cream cheese and sugar and mix until the frosting becomes smooth.

Spread it on the cool cake.

The yummy pumpkin cake is ready to be served.
